Whatever Mike McCarthy’s number is, Tom Coughlin and the Giants have it.
Once again, the Packers didn’t have any answers for New York’s defense or the Giant passing game in a 38-10 thrashing at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night.
Eli Manning tossed three touchdown passes in the victory and supplanted CBS analyst/Eli hater Phil Simms atop the Giants record books with the most touchdown passes ever by a Giant quarterback.
Manning set a new mark with his 200th career TD toss on a second half scoring strike to Hakeem Nicks.
As for the Packers, the loss marks the second time since January that the Giants defeated Green Bay. While the stakes were far smaller than last January’s NFC Divisional playoff game, these two teams may meet again in the 2012 postseason.
One last thing.
Aaron Rodgers…that moustache. I know it’s Movember but that thing adds an element of creep to the Packers. Put a light trim on that thing.
